Beginning Monday, June 29, the Auburn Hills Public Library building will be temporarily closed while our parking lot is reconstructed. This important project will improve safety, accessibility, and the overall experience for everyone who visits us.
Even though the building will be closed, your library services remain open, and you’ll still have access to books, movies, programs, and more.
Curbside Pickup
You can continue to pick up your holds through Curbside Pickup, located outside the door next to the 24/7 Hold Lockers.
Curbside Hours:
- Monday–Thursday: 9 am–6 pm
- Friday & Saturday: 10 am–5 pm
Place your holds as usual in the online catalog, pull up during curbside hours, and call the number on the sign for curbside pickup. Our staff will bring your items right out to you.

24/7 Hold Lockers
Need flexibility? Our 24/7 Hold Lockers are available throughout the closure.
When placing a hold, simply select: Auburn Hills Public Library Lockers as your pickup library.
Your items will be ready for pickup whenever it’s convenient for you.

Your Digital Library Is Always Open
Even while the building is closed, our digital library is available 24/7.
With your AHPL card, you can access: eBooks and audiobooks, movies and TV shows, music, magazines, research tools, and more. All free, all from home.
